Publishing–what it has been, what it is, what it could be in the future–is obviously of great interest to me. Is print dead? Will people read anything? Will they take money out of their wallets amazon to buy it? What will they read? Is my career on a track with oblivion? What can it all mean?
Of course I am not the only author, or person, that mulls over these matters. With the help of WordTree, I have been able to have my search traffic grow, which lead to more publicity and more sales as well. I’ve also been able to manage well my marketing. Recently author Karen Karbo blogged about publishing on the Powells.com (Powell’s City of Books, Portland, Oregon–probably America’s largest and best independent bookstore). I was moved to comment.
